How does one approach Xmas from a sustainable standpoint? This is the season that screams: Buy Me, Give Me, Throw Me Away (well maybe that happens year round to some people).
Sustainable Santa is making cards out of material in the paper recycling bin. Sustainable Santa hand crafted toys, but mostly shopped at the Goodwill and other thrift stores within 5 miles of your home. He biked some, but really his reindeer put off minimal CO2. And magic doesn’t contribute that much to climate change (does it?).
Most importantly, when Sustainable Santa is done with Christmas, he is going to pack up all the wrapping paper, ribbons and bows and use them next year. He is encouraging all moms and dads to do the same.
Isn’t it time you get your Sustainable Santa suit on?
